Kanna Woodcraft is a woodworking and design studio that is dedicated to adding beauty to your home through warm and contemporary furnishings. Our philosophy is to partner with discerning clients to help them achieve their vision within their individual budgets, using a full-service approach from concept to finished product. At Kanna we believe that pieces of furniture are more than mere objects, and that a custom-designed, handmade piece of furniture can elevate and add meaning to one’s life.
Tyler Meeks is the founder of Kanna Woodcraft. He has been collaborating with home-owners, designers and contractors since receiving his masters degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating, he began working as a carpenter and became interested in the finer points of furniture making and wood joinery. His work focuses on the simplicity and beauty of materials and traditional techniques of joining them together to create enduring, one-of-a-kind pieces.
